Minwax "Early American" is a very popular stain choice, for JWAC business, and abroad. This stain choice really lives up to it's name; a true medium-brown level stain that has a very pretty, colonial, look to it. It is pleasing in all lightings. Our own JWAC dining set (pictured) is finished in Early American (w/ an oil-based sealant).
**At current, we have no portfolio examples of this stain color choice w/ our standard water-based sealant, but your piece could become our first! We suggest Google'ing "Minwax Early American table" or similar, to help you get a large-scale idea of how this color choice might look on a finished piece of furniture, in different lightings, etc...**
